Terms and Conditions

In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise, the following words have the meanings below.

"Account" means a registered User account on the Platform.

"Challenge" means a proposed squad-versus-squad game linked to a football time slot and made available through the Platform.

"Content" means information or material submitted by a User through the Platform, including profile names and details, squad names, tags and mottos, and Challenge messages.

"KoraNow", "we", "us" or "our" means KoraNow LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under trade licence number 2646834.01, whose registered address is Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

"Match" means a football match or other football activity listed on the Platform, including a squad Challenge that becomes matched.

"Match Host" means the person identified through KoraNow as having limited operational access to a Match roster for the purpose of organising that Match.

"Platform" means the KoraNow mobile application, the KoraNow website at koranow.ae, and the related services and features made available by KoraNow.

"Privacy Policy" means the KoraNow Privacy Policy available at koranow.ae/privacy, as updated in accordance with applicable law.

"Squad" means a group of Users organised as a team through the Platform.

"Terms" means these Terms and Conditions and any policy expressly incorporated into them.

"User", "you" or "your" means a person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a guest or through an Account.

"Venue" means the football pitch, facility or location at which a Match is scheduled.

Headings are for convenience only. The singular includes the plural and vice versa. Words such as "including" and "for example" are illustrative and do not limit the words that precede them. A reference to a clause is a reference to a clause of these Terms.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platform. By clicking to accept these Terms, confirming that you are at least 18, completing Account registration, or using a feature that requires an Account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Your electronic acceptance and the related date and version record may be used as evidence of your agreement to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you must not create an Account or use Account-only features.

The Platform is intended only for people aged 18 or older. By using an Account, you represent that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. We may suspend or remove an Account if we reasonably believe the User is under 18.

A Squad is a Platform feature and is not a separate legal person. A captain manages certain Squad functions but does not accept these Terms on behalf of other Squad members.

KoraNow is a football discovery, reservation and matchmaking platform. Depending on availability and your Account status, the Platform may allow you to:

• browse listed Matches and Venues;
• reserve a place in a Match or join a waiting list;
• view and manage your bookings;
• create or join one active Squad;
• create, accept and manage squad Challenges where you are authorised as captain; and
• receive in-app, email or optional push notifications about Matches, Squads, Challenges and your Account.

The Platform applies technical booking, waiting-list, Challenge, moderation and Account rules. KoraNow does not own or operate Venues, referee or supervise Matches, provide coaching or medical services, guarantee attendance, or independently verify a User's identity, fitness or stated playing ability.

To create and use an Account, you must be at least 18, have legal capacity, provide accurate information, and comply with applicable law.

To complete an active player profile and use booking, Squad and Challenge features, you must provide the required profile information and verify a UAE phone number through the Platform. An optional date of birth may be provided, but the 18+ confirmation remains mandatory.

We may refuse, restrict, suspend or terminate access where eligibility requirements are not met, information is materially false, or use of the Platform would breach these Terms or applicable law.

Guests may browse certain public Match and Venue information. An Account is required to reserve or join Matches, use a waiting list, create or join a Squad, participate in Challenges, manage bookings, or view Account-specific activity.

Your profile may include your name, verified phone number, email, city, playing position, skill level, preferred foot, playing style, preferred football format and, optionally, date of birth. You must keep required information accurate and must not impersonate another person.

Your name may appear on Match and Squad rosters. Players who join the same Match may open your player profile and see your selected football profile fields (playing position, skill level, preferred foot, playing style and preferred football format), aggregate performance statistics (matches played, wins, losses, goals, win rate and current winning streak), and recent win/loss results. That player-facing profile never includes your email address, phone number, date of birth, no-show history or consent records. Limited profile details may also be visible to other members of the same Squad, and a Match Host may receive limited details needed to organise a Match, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email, phone and device secure and for activity through your Account. Tell support@koranow.ae promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Selecting the booking confirmation and completing "Reserve my spot" requests a place in the Match. If capacity is available and the request succeeds, your booking is recorded as joined. If the Match is full and its waiting list remains open, you may instead be offered a waiting-list place.

A booking reserves participation capacity, but it does not itself charge you and does not guarantee that the Match will proceed. A Match may remain in a forming state until enough players join. It may be confirmed, cancelled or rescheduled through the Platform, including if the required participation threshold is not reached by the applicable deadline.

Reservations are generally processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not guarantee attendance by other players, team balance, a particular standard of play, an exact player count, weather conditions, Venue availability, or that a Match will proceed exactly as listed.

You must review the Match details, price information, location, kickoff time, cancellation cutoff and current status before booking and before travelling to the Venue.

When a Match is full, an eligible User may join its waiting list while the queue is open. Your displayed position may change as other Users leave.

If a place becomes available before the waiting list closes, the Platform may automatically promote the first eligible User in the queue into a joined booking. Promotion does not require a second acceptance. By remaining on a waiting list, you agree that you may be promoted and become responsible for attending or cancelling before the displayed cutoff.

The queue closes at the Match's displayed cancellation cutoff. A waiting-list place is not guaranteed, and optional push delivery is not guaranteed. You remain responsible for checking the Platform and your booking status.

You may leave a joined booking or waiting list through the Platform only before the cancellation cutoff displayed for that Match. Cutoffs can vary by Venue and Match. Once the cutoff has passed, the Platform locks the place and may refuse cancellation.

KoraNow may cancel or reschedule a Match through the Platform, including where too few players join by the confirmation deadline, the Venue becomes unavailable, or safety or operational circumstances require a change. We will use reasonable efforts to notify affected Users through available service channels, but you must still check the current Match status.

If an authorised Match result records you as a no-show, the Platform currently applies the following escalating restriction ladder. A corrected result revokes the ban linked to that incorrect result:

• first non-revoked no-show: 14-day ban;
• second non-revoked no-show: 30-day ban;
• third non-revoked no-show: 60-day ban; and
• fourth non-revoked no-show: lifetime ban.

When a ban starts, the Platform removes your upcoming joined bookings and waiting-list places, may cancel unmatched Challenges involving you or your Squad, and prevents you from booking Matches or creating or joining Squads and Challenges while the ban remains active. Matched Challenges may remain in place for the other participants.

If you believe a no-show result or ban is wrong, contact support@koranow.ae for review. This review route does not limit any right you have under applicable law.

A User may belong to only one active Squad at a time. A User who creates a Squad becomes its captain. A User may also join an existing Squad by entering its valid six-digit invite code. A valid code joins the User automatically; the current Platform does not require a separate captain approval.

Keep invite codes private and share them only with intended members. The captain may remove members, manage participation in Challenges, share the invite code and disband the Squad. The captain cannot leave or remove themselves through the ordinary member-removal flow; they must resolve active commitments and disband the Squad where the Platform permits. Captaincy may transfer automatically during the Account-deletion process as described in clause 21.

Only the Squad captain may create, accept, withdraw or back out of a Squad Challenge. A Challenge is tied to an available Match slot. When an eligible opposing captain accepts an open Challenge, the slot is locked and the Challenge becomes matched.

Membership or Challenge actions may be restricted while a Squad is committed to an active Challenge, where the Squad roster fills the available Challenge capacity, or while any Squad member has an active ban. KoraNow does not guarantee acceptance, attendance, Venue availability or completion of a Challenge.

Squad decisions are made by Users. KoraNow may enforce Platform rules but is not responsible for ordinary internal disagreements about membership, playing time or captain decisions.

KoraNow has zero tolerance for objectionable Content or abusive conduct.

You must treat other Users, Venue staff and participants lawfully and respectfully. You must not use the Platform or participate in a Match to:

• threaten, harass, abuse, stalk or intimidate another person;
• use discriminatory, hateful, obscene or defamatory language;
• engage in violent, deliberately dangerous or seriously unsporting conduct;
• impersonate another person, create a fake Account, cheat or commit fraud;
• damage a Venue, equipment or another person's property;
• send spam, malicious code or misuse Platform access; or
• engage in illegal activity.

Supported player cards, squad challenges and Challenge messages include in-app safety controls. You may report Content, block the responsible User so their public player and opponent-squad Content is hidden from you, or contact support@koranow.ae. Shared team rosters may remain visible where needed to manage an existing squad or Match commitment. Automated filters may refuse objectionable names, mottos or messages. KoraNow may preserve a snapshot of reported Content, investigate available information, and warn, restrict, suspend or permanently ban Users, or remove Content, where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect Users or comply with law.

KoraNow does not guarantee another person's conduct. In an emergency or where anyone is in immediate danger, contact the Venue and the appropriate emergency services rather than relying on the Platform or support email.

You are responsible for your personal belongings before, during and after Matches. Keep phones, wallets, vehicles, clothing and equipment secure.

Venues, Venue operators, Match Hosts, referees, coaches, medical providers and external payment providers are separate from KoraNow unless the Platform expressly states otherwise.

You must follow Venue rules and assess whether the Venue and conditions are suitable for you. Information about a Venue or Match may be supplied by a third party and may change. KoraNow does not make an independent warranty about a Venue's physical condition, licensing, insurance, staff, equipment or suitability, except to the extent KoraNow expressly assumes an obligation or applicable law provides otherwise.

These Terms do not remove any duty or liability that KoraNow, a Venue, a Match Host, a payee or another person has under applicable law.

The Platform, KoraNow name and logo, software, interfaces, graphics, databases and KoraNow-provided material, together with the related intellectual property rights, are owned by or licensed to KoraNow. User Content remains subject to clause 13.

Subject to these Terms, KoraNow gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use of its football discovery, booking, Squad and Challenge features.

You must not, except where applicable law does not allow the restriction:

• copy, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the Platform;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive its source code;
• scrape, crawl, harvest or extract Platform data by automated means;
• use the KoraNow name, logo or marks without written permission; or
• remove or alter proprietary notices.

You keep ownership of your Content and are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and consistent with these Terms.

You give KoraNow a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, format and moderate your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support the Platform, display it to the intended audience, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. KoraNow may allow contracted service providers to perform those functions on its behalf, subject to appropriate obligations.

This licence does not give KoraNow permission to use your Content in advertising that identifies you without your separate consent. Personal data in Content is handled under the Privacy Policy. The licence ends when the Content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backup, security, dispute or legal-retention copies that cannot immediately be removed or that applicable law permits or requires us to retain.

You must not submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, fraudulent or privacy-invasive Content. KoraNow may refuse, remove, restrict or preserve Content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, investigate a report, protect the service or comply with law.

Football is a physical contact sport. It carries inherent risks including contact with other players, collisions, falls, strains, sprains, fractures, concussion, serious injury, permanent disability, death, and loss of or damage to property. Risks may arise from your actions, the actions of other participants, playing conditions, weather, equipment or the Venue.

You participate voluntarily and accept the ordinary and inherent sporting risks that are not caused by a breach of a legal duty owed to you. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to play, obtaining medical advice where appropriate, using suitable equipment and arranging any personal insurance you consider necessary.

Nothing in this clause releases or limits liability for KoraNow's own harmful act, breach of a non-excludable duty, fraud, or any matter that cannot lawfully be waived or limited. This clause records informed acceptance of inherent football risks; it is not intended to override mandatory UAE law or consumer rights.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. KoraNow does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, a particular Match or Venue, attendance by any person, team balance, or the accuracy of User-supplied information.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, KoraNow is not responsible for losses caused solely by an independent Venue, User, Match Host, referee, payment provider or other third party, or by an inherent sporting risk accepted under clause 14, where the loss was not caused or contributed to by KoraNow's own breach or harmful act.

For a contractual claim that applicable law permits the parties to limit, KoraNow will not be liable for an indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when these Terms were accepted. No exclusion or cap in these Terms applies to liability arising from a harmful act where such a limitation is void, to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or to a statutory consumer or data-protection right that cannot be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for a third-party claim, loss or reasonable cost to the extent it is directly caused by your unlawful Content, fraud, wilful misconduct, infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms.

You are not responsible under this clause to the extent a claim was caused or increased by KoraNow's own breach, harmful act or failure to take reasonable steps to reduce the loss. KoraNow must give reasonable notice of a claim and must not settle it in a way that imposes an admission or non-monetary obligation on you without your reasonable consent.

The Platform currently does not process in-app payments or charge your payment method when you reserve or join a Match. Joining a Match records a participation commitment only. Prices displayed in the Platform are the stated per-player participation price and do not mean that payment has been collected.

A Venue, Match Host or other identified payee may collect the participation amount outside the Platform, for example at the Venue by cash or card, or through an external payment link or QR code. Before paying, check the payee, amount and applicable cancellation or refund terms. An external payment provider may apply its own terms, privacy notice and processing charges.

The party identified as receiving an external payment is responsible for the payment record, receipt, reversal and refund, subject to applicable law and the information shown when payment is requested. If a Match is cancelled or rescheduled after you pay outside the Platform, contact the identified payee and KoraNow support promptly. Nothing in these Terms limits a non-excludable consumer right against the responsible provider.

KoraNow will update the Platform information and these Terms before introducing in-app payment processing, subscriptions, automatic renewals, or a KoraNow service fee. Those features do not form part of the current service.

KoraNow processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data-protection law. The Privacy Policy explains the data collected, the purposes and lawful grounds for processing, recipients, international transfers, security measures, retention periods and your rights.

KoraNow uses Account, profile, activity, technical, security and consent data to provide Accounts, bookings, waiting lists, rosters, Squads, Challenges, notifications, safety and abuse prevention, customer support and legal compliance. Processing is based on consent where required and on other lawful grounds or exceptions available under applicable law, including where processing is necessary to perform the service or meet a legal obligation.

Other players may see your name on Match and Squad rosters. Players who join the same Match may see your selected football profile fields (playing position, skill level, preferred foot, playing style and preferred football format), aggregate performance statistics (matches played, wins, losses, goals, win rate and current winning streak), and recent win/loss results. The player-facing profile never includes your email address, phone number, date of birth, no-show history or consent records. Members of a Squad may see limited playing details of fellow members. A Match Host may separately receive limited details such as your name and phone number where reasonably necessary to organise a Match.

If you grant device-location permission, KoraNow currently uses the location on your device to calculate nearby Venue distances; the device coordinates are not sent to KoraNow servers. Push notifications are optional. Service providers may process data inside or outside the UAE subject to the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to support@koranow.ae. The complete Privacy Policy, rather than this summary, controls KoraNow's description of personal-data handling.

KoraNow may provide operational notices about bookings, Match status, waiting-list movement, Squads, Challenges, Account security, bans, deactivation, deletion and legal updates through the Platform, email or other available contact details.

Optional push notifications depend on your device settings and third-party delivery services and may be delayed or fail. Disabling push notifications does not cancel a booking or waiting-list place. You remain responsible for checking the Platform and your email for important Account and Match information.

KoraNow may remove Content or warn, restrict, suspend or permanently terminate an Account where it reasonably believes the User has breached these Terms, engaged in harassment or unsafe conduct, committed fraud or deception, misused Platform features, repeatedly failed to attend Matches, attempted to evade a restriction, or where action is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the Platform or its Users.

No-show bans follow the automated ladder in clause 8. KoraNow may also impose a temporary or permanent manual ban for reasons shown to the User, including serious unsporting conduct, abuse or harassment, cheating, a fake Account or other material misconduct.

Where practicable and lawful, the Platform will show the reason and duration of an active ban. You may ask support@koranow.ae to review a ban or correction. An active ban restricts Platform access but does not prevent you from requesting permanent Account deletion under clause 21.

You may request Account deactivation or permanent deletion through Profile > Close account after completing the email-code and security-verification steps. The Platform may block either request while you hold an upcoming joined Match or an active matched Challenge commitment. Waiting-list places are removed as part of the pause process and are not treated as a closure blocker.

Deactivation. Deactivation pauses access, signs out active sessions and keeps your profile, statistics and history for later reactivation. You remain a member of your Squad. You may reactivate using the email associated with the Account. After reactivation, a seven-day cooldown applies before you can deactivate again; this cooldown does not prevent a deletion request if other blockers are clear.

Deletion request. A deletion request pauses the Account immediately, removes you from Squads, and transfers captaincy to the earliest eligible active member who is not already a captain. If there is no eligible successor, the Squad may be deleted. Your deletion is scheduled for 30 days after the request.

Grace period. Before the 30-day period expires and before final deletion processing begins, you may cancel the deletion by signing in and reactivating. Removed Squad memberships and transferred captaincy are not restored.

Final deletion and limited retention. After the grace period, KoraNow deletes the Account and personal data from active systems, subject to limited security, legal and dispute records that applicable law permits or requires. A deletion-confirmation email may remain in a restricted retry queue for up to seven days. Where an active or lifetime ban exists, KoraNow retains protected one-way email or phone identifiers and the ban timing needed to prevent evasion. Those identifiers are not retained as contact details.

The Privacy Policy provides the complete retention description. Deactivation and deletion do not affect provisions that by their nature must continue, including intellectual property, dispute, risk and eligible liability provisions.

Disputes with another User, Venue or payee. The responsible parties should first try to resolve the issue directly. KoraNow may review reports involving Platform misuse but does not promise to mediate or decide a private payment, squad or Venue dispute.

Disputes with KoraNow. Contact support@koranow.ae with enough information for KoraNow to investigate. Both parties should try in good faith to resolve the matter promptly.

Nothing in this clause delays or prevents a complaint to a competent consumer-protection, data-protection or other regulatory authority, an application for urgent relief, or the exercise of a mandatory statutory right.

These Terms and non-contractual obligations connected with them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.

Subject to mandatory consumer law and the jurisdiction of any competent authority or court that cannot lawfully be excluded, disputes with KoraNow are submitted to the competent onshore courts of Dubai.

KoraNow may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security needs or business operations. The updated version will show a new date and version identifier.

For a material change, KoraNow will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate or required by law, ask you to review and affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continuing to use Account-only features. A change will not apply retroactively in a way that removes an accrued mandatory consumer right.

A non-material clarification may take effect when published or notified. If you do not agree to a material update, you may stop using the Platform and request Account closure, subject to resolving existing commitments as described in clause 21.

Force majeure. KoraNow is not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, government action, utility or telecommunications failure, or failure of third-party infrastructure, but only to the extent permitted by law and while KoraNow takes reasonable steps to reduce the effect.

Assignment. KoraNow may transfer these Terms as part of a genuine reorganisation, financing, merger, sale or transfer of the Platform, provided the transfer does not materially reduce your mandatory rights. You may not transfer your Account or rights under these Terms without written consent.

Severability. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue.

No waiver. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of that right.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any Match-specific information expressly incorporated at booking form the agreement governing your use of the Platform. They do not exclude a representation or right that applicable law does not permit KoraNow to exclude.

Notices. KoraNow may send notices through the Platform, by email, or through another contact method associated with your Account. You may send legal and support notices using clause 26.

Language. The Platform displays these Terms in English by default while its interface is English. An Arabic version may be selected when available. Any question of precedence between language versions is determined by applicable law; English does not override a mandatory Arabic text.
